The Phonak RemoteMic II and ComPilot Air II Set is an ideal package if you’re after a compact, wireless microphone and multi-functional streamer with remote control capabilities. Designed to work in tandem with your existing Phonak hearing aids, this lightweight combination aims to enhance your long distance listening experience as well as highlight speech more clearly in a crowded room. The Phonak RemoteMic when clipped onto the speaker’s clothing will transmit their voice up to 20 metres away, via the ComPilot II directly to your hearing aids. It’s omnidirectional, so it will pick up sound from all around you and weighs just 13 grams.
The Phonak ComPilot Air not only streams high definition sound to your hearing aids from the RemoteMic, but also acts as a basic remote control. It enables you to discreetly alter volume levels or program settings with ease. For more complex functions, you can use the ComPilot alongside the Phonak RemoteControl app. Thanks to an extended battery life, the ComPilot provides an impressive 24 hours of streaming time and will provide stereo sound to your hearing aids from a variety of audio sources including mobile phones, laptops, tablets, computers and MP3 players.
