FAQs

Here's answers to the frequently asked questions about the HD 91 Digital Hearing Aid
How do I use the HD91?

How do I know if it will fit my ear?

The manufacturer of the HD91 took a large sample of men and women’s ear canals into account to try to find the best average fitting, suitable for as many people as possible. We cant give a guaranteed 100% fit result for all ear canals, but that’s why our 30 day return period allows for a trial in your own ear, in the comfort of your own home.

What if it doesn't work for me?

If an evaluation by a hearing professional indicates that you have hearing loss in both ears, and especially where the degree of loss is similar, two hearing aids are usually recommended.

While it may be tempting to try to limit the cost by going with a single hearing aid, wearing just one hearing aid may not give you maximum benefit in some difficult listening situations.

Should I get one or two?
How much will it cost to run the HD91?

The following items will need to be replaced on the HD91:

  • Dome: if you choose to use a dome it will need changing every 2-3 months on average
  • Wax guard: varies greatly person to person - average change once every 3 weeks (5 Wax guards in a pack)
